Freightliner and Western Star models will offer a broader mix of gasoline, diesel and natural gas engines designed to meet EPA 2027 emissions standards.
The manufacturer is adding three new Cummins offerings, including a commercial-grade, medium-duty gasoline engine, for Freightliner and Western Star models.
Cummins’ 6.7L Turbo Diesel advanced engine system and powertrain will be offered in the recently announced 2025 Ram 2500; 3500 heavy-duty pickups; and Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 chassis cab trucks.
