Eversource implements helicopter tree trimming to help prevent power outages

Members in Awendaw may have seen an unusual sight recently as contract crews used a helicopter to trim trees along the co-op's power lines. By using a helicopter, crews can cut 5x more compared to regular mechanical trimming and can also reach normally inaccessible areas, like swamps. | Berkeley Electric Cooperative, Inc.
