During David’s time in Woodstock, he was featured in the Woodstock newspaper The Record Press. The article spoke of David’s move from San Francisco to Woodstock and his transition from graphic artist to painter. A year later, in 1964, David held an exhibition in the Greer Gallery in New York City.
