Meet Ling Xiaozhe, a snow leopard cub that was discovered and saved by a wildlife rescue team and taken to their breeding center in Yushu, Qinghai. It was barely clinging to life when it was found in the wild in March. After more than three months of dedicated treatment and care by the team there, it has reached a healthy weight and started showing strong signs of recovery. Veterinarians believe the cub fell from a great height, leaving it unable to move and starving until it was finally found.

A rescued snow leopard was released into the wild after full recovery in Qinghai Province. The big cat was injured by shattered glass windows after straying into a farmer's house.
