This past Tuesday was World Refugee Day! 🌏 North Carolina is home to a sizeable refugee population, many of whom are on the path to citizenship and voting eligibility. Protecting the rights of all voters, including our newest neighbors is extremely important in expanding representation throughout our state. Last weekend, Greensboro celebrated the strength, resilience, and contributions of the refugee community with a naturalization ceremony, voter registration, a soccer game, and performances!
