Today marks 65 years since The Beatles’ first performance in Hamburg, Germany. On 17 August 1960, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best took to the stage at the Indra Club, beginning their first Hamburg residency.
