The Fastback History Forgot In 1968, while everyone was chasing big blocks, Plymouth slipped something clever into the compact Barracuda. The ’68 ’Cuda Formula S 340 looked mild, but that high compression 340 small block was a gem. Factory said 275 horsepower. The National Hot Rod Association wasn’t buying it.
